This programme will equip students with practical skills in Risk Management and Emergency Response with a focus on the outdoors.
Course Aim
The Outdoor Emergency Response Level 3 programme provides students with the ability to identify, prepare for, manage and respond to risks and emergency events that can occur in an outdoor environment. These emergencies could range from weather events, accidents or medical emergencies in remote areas, search and rescue operations and missing persons.


Learning Objectives
Students will have the opportunity to achieve academic learning objectives that contribute to their National Certificate of Education Achievement (NCEA) and develop crucial personal and social development skills.

Personal and social skills are transferable to any chosen career pathway and are considered essential skills by employers.
