Ngāti Koata has partnered with Whenua Iti to develop a series of Koata Rangatahi Wānanga to grow tribal leadership skills and give rangatahi the platform for whakawhanaungatanga, develop their Koatatanga and make connections with their whenua. They will learn about whakapapa and history that Ngāti Koata has in its people, its places and its taonga. These wānanga will build self-confidence, cultural connection, and develop a strong sense of belonging.
