MEA and MOA!
Mini Environmental Adventurers + Mini Outdoor Adventurers
Your students will experience a day of safe and fun activities with our fully qualified, experienced educators. On offer is a variety of exciting, outdoor Experiential Learning activities including follow up activities back in class.
These programmes form an excellent entry level day out for the youngest students in your school with challenges and activities designed to inspire and challenge your tamariki.
The MOA programme is designed to develop student’s self-confidence, resilience and team work skills.
Develop resilience skills (coping with challenge and change)
Develop belief in self and increasing confidence
Demonstrate willingness to learn new skills while taking part in a variety of outdoor activities
Show whanaungatanga through participating and contributing in a team and identifying the characteristics of a good team member
The MEA programme will extend student’s experiences of the natural world
Recognise that living things are suited to their particular habitat
Explore and ask questions to increase understanding of the natural world including kaitiakitanga of New Zealand’s unique flora and fauna
Increase willingness to learn
Develop a positive attitude
Please note: The order and type of activities may change due to weather or other safety reasons. Our educator team will communicate any changes with the teacher in charge.
Year 1-4 students
Day programme (approx 9.30am to 2pm)
Whenua Iti Outdoors
$10 per person for one day
$15 per person for both days
Dates available in Term 2 and Term 3
(Monday to Thursday)
Class must be accompanied and supervised by 2 adults
