School Holiday Programmes
Adventure Skills Development, Senior Journey, Journey Max, Junior Journey and Go Wild School Holiday Programmes are full of action-packed outdoor adventure! Students will discover remote places of wilderness in the Nelson/Tasman region by tramping, mountain biking, sea or river kayaking and camping - activities vary by season.
Our school holiday programmes are about having fun, exploring, and learning outdoor skills as well as for students to become aware of their true strengths and potential.
The adventures will require students to work in a team and to face challenges together building essential leadership qualities. The outcome is a great sense of achievement, increased confidence and a memorable experience that will be shared with new friends.
Senior Journey and Journey Max
For ages 13-17 (school years 9+)
- 5 day and 4 nights of packed adventure and personal challenge.
- We provide all transport, activities, outdoor gear and qualified instructors.
- Journey locations are dependent on seasons and weather. They may be either in the Abel Tasman or Kahurangi National Parks.
- Cost: $350 per person
Junior Journey
For ages 11-13 (school years 7-8)
- 4 day and 3 nights of independent challenge and growth.
- We provide all transport, activities, outdoor gear and qualified instructors.
- The activities and location vary and we try to make each Junior Journey of the year unique and distinct from the others.
- Cost: $300 per person
Go Wild
For ages 7-11 (school years 3-6)
- 5 days of action fun and outdoor exploration with students returning home each afternoon (9am-3pm - with some scope for pick ups and drop offs).
- Introduction to Bush Skills, Navigation, Survival Skills and Outdoor Challenges.
- Cost: $300 per person (Participants need to be able to attend the whole week).

- Monday 21st - Friday 25th January
Senior Journey Max 2018 Dates:
Journey Max is a step up for keen youth who want to take their outdoor skills to the next level.
- Monday 10th - Friday 14th December
Junior Journey 2019 Dates:
- Monday 21st - Thursday 24th January
Go Wild 2019 Dates:
- Monday 21st - Friday 25th January
